OK, as suggested by Destroyer, I am starting a new thread for NSDF members. I placed a post on the NSDF forum "referring" to THIS location hoping there will be several responses over the next few weeks. I am also sending email to "last known addresses" to see who responds. Let's hope for a great number of replies. NOTE: When you reply to this thread, DELETE the title and place YOUR name there.

OK, since I set this up, I will start. I am still living in Rapid City, SD. I have one daughter and 2 grandchildren living in town. I have another daughter and 3 grandchildren living in WI. What little hair I have left is starting to get a little grey. I am playing "Battlefield 2" quite a bit. Nearly every night for a few hours. My wife got the game for me, plus the expansion packs, as a Christmas gift and I love it. I still have DOOM 3 and Quake 4 to play now and then, but BF2 is taking my time right now. I also have TRAINZ 2004 and TRAINZ 2006. They are "simulators", and I really enjoy them as well. They help with the "creative" side of computing. My current computer is an AMD 3000+ with Nvidia 5900 and 1 GB RAM. When the new 64 bit systems become available to us "common" folks, with software support, I will most likely get a new one. Until then, I will make do. I am not in any squad or clan at the moment. I have been shopping around for a BF2 clan that is really into the game, but have not found what I want. There are several that do interest me, though. I have a list of favorite sites I play on. Currently, my global score for ranking is over 12,000 and I am moving up. There is a lot of catch-up, since I only started playing after Christmas and others have been playing for a LONG time. If you are interested in JOINING the IW, please note this is NOT a squad/clan. It is a "meeting" place. I can and will modify the board to meet needs of members. Boards can be added or removed at any time. So, if you have an interest that is similar, let me know. Please post "contact" information if you would like someone to get back to you to renew old friendships. IF YOU ARE READING THIS AND WERE A MEMBER OF NSDF, THEN YOU GOT THE MESSAGE. WELCOME !! If you read this and know of another old NSDF member who did not receive a message, please let them know. Many of the emails I had are no longer valid and therefore I cannot reach everyone. Again, welcome! NOTE: Please remember to CHANGE the TITLE of the message when you post.

Oh my God... I had almost forgotten about you guys until I got the email, hot damn! It's been so long since I'd played any SS universe games! Man, I still remember when SS was in alpha and I was part of NTDF, crazy huh?
Anyways, more about myself:
Name's Yike Lu (pronounced eco like ecosystem), I'm currently a freshman at the California Institute of Technology, studying to be a physics major. My hometown is in TX, though. I've definitely reduced the amount of gaming I've been doing the last couple of years, although I'm not adverse to getting back into the action once the ridiculous busy-ness of my schooling is over.
What I've been doing up until now: school, research, working out, music, havin fun.
What I'm doing now: haha see above, same ol' same ol' just a lot harder.
Plans: Grad school? Working at a particle collider? Business? Music? Who knows...probably some combination thereof.
Contact info: Hit me up at yike@caltech.edu
Glad to see all of you still alive and kick'n, and special thanks to Tarkus for setting this up!

Whoa...It's been a very long time since I last encountered the word "NSDF"! Nostalgic man..
This is Hanz and well I am from Singapore.
Joined the NSDF (and also before the NTDF - since the ATR) and played with you guys for alot of times, squad battles, training and so on...I guess it's been a lot of years already, I still remember I was quite young (about 13-14?) when I first started playing Starsiege and found out about you guys...
Not sure if anyone remembers me though, I was just a "small fry", but nonetheless spoke to alot of great people and leaders in that squad. Learnt alot from you guys back then...
Am still a student, just ended my second year of Polytechnic studies and going on to third year..taking Diploma in Digital Entertainment Technology.. well basically during recent times games companies have just set up their branches here in Singapore and so they are looking for game programmers/designers and people to work in the industry. There's the visual arts and game development side. I'm on game development, which means I'm a programmer! Still learning though..but it's half a dream come true I love what I'm doing.
I have Doom 3 and Quake 4, Half Life 2 and almost the recent games, but haven't really played alot of multiplayer..simply not alot of time to do so.
Would really want to be back with all NSDF members one day...
When playing multiplayer games I like teamwork. I don't know why but I just love it. Even if you are not leading, just by following orders and contributing to the team towards success is cool.
Ah..basically more or less the same, just much more mature and gotten a little less of a loudmouth (lol)..I guess part of that reason is because of "sh*t happens" in real life. Yeah..
Email is still Seow_hanyi@hotmail.com though, so no worries.. feel free to add me to.. MSN? Heh. I have an alternate email but not really being checked regularly: chainsawzombie@gmail.com .
I guess that's all to talk about my current situation..glad to know of the whereabouts of you guys! Hope to see more replies soon.
And Thanks to Tarkus for the email!

Hey all...tarkus...old and ex NSDF-ers! Its your old pal Rex Havoc. Still doing it after all these years. I'm in Dearborn Heights, MI...tolerated by my wife and daughter (11) and 2 cats (Outboard & Pea-brain) Not really doing too much gaming lately....when I do, its Halo (heavy weapons) and on rare occasion I pull out the old Precision racing wheel and fire up the Predator in a Starsiege server. My present machine is an AMD4200+x2 - 1 gig CorsairXMS - GT7800 XFX PCI - Audigy2 ZS. So there is no game I can't play...just don't. I have BF2 and Doom3, but they are collecting dust on the shelf. My experience with BF2 is right up there with Counter-strike. A bunch of bratty little kids I wish I could get my hands on for real. Been working out alot lately and making real good progress. Actually did a set of 5 today with 320lbs on the benchpress. Not bad for an old dude in his forties, eh? I haven't been too active in EtG since the thing with Prophet went on...I dunno...I just lost my motivation or somthing. Dealing with turmoil sucks the energy out of me. Anyway, if anyone gets a good brainstorm and discovers a game worth playing, hit me up. My email is easy to remember. rex@rexhavoc.us Bonus? I'll ckeck back and see who all shows up to the party. ~Rex~ out.

Good Morning.
It's me, Jones [First name, not last] (SoMeOnE). I used to go by my middle name, Eric, back then.
I'm currently in my 4th semester as a Sophomore here at Henderson State University studying Computer Science. I left home about a year ago and have been moving around, place to place, during the down time during college, working and trying to survive. I'm trying to get some money together to finally get a place to rent so I actually have a home. I've been homeless for the past year, though I've never spent a day on the streets thanks to the generosity of some really great people. But I'm not here to tell sob stories.
Classes are hard, but I can do it. I just have to apply myself. I have a scholarship which pays my Tuition for me, however, I have to take out loans to pay for room & board. I'm hoping this is the last semester I have to have a loan.
I'm still using the same computer that I joined NSDF under, 500MHz, 192 MB RAM, 19 GB HDD, ect. Not much changed, except the amount of RAM. I don't play computer games, as I never did before. Starsiege was just that one exception. I still play off and on, but College is relentless. There's really not much to my life right now. I'm just hoping that this Summer goes well.

Wow I must say this is a pleasant suprise hearing from you guys after all these years. I'm still stuck in Johnson City TN going to school at East TN State. I'm in my second year here and so far so good expected to graduate next summer. I joined a fraternity and live in the house with a bunch of guys and to all those who wonder Animal House wasn't far off from the Sigma Nu's at ETSU. I work all the time and go to school just trying to survive since I refuse to move home with my family I'm determined to do it myself. I have alot of respect for all of you guys you took me in to the squad at 13 and i'm almost 20 now sitting at my laptop catching up with everyone. But if anyone is going to be heading through the northeast part of TN email me and we will get together and grab a bite to eat and chat about the good ol days. As far as gaming goes I stopped on the computer and took up table top miniture strategy games. I'm currently playing WarMachine running a Protecterate of Menoth Army. Anyway thats about all I got take care everyone I miss the good ol days but time must move forward. -=NSDF=-Lunar5 Bolo pilot extrodanaire and NSDF's premier nasherc driver.

Yep, I'm still around too here in Indianapolis. ;D
World of Warcraft is about the only game I play now and I play that on dialup (very playable). Also playing a bit of Star Wars: Empire at War.
Tried playing Tribes: V here recently but is not really playable on dialup. I still have lots of offline games to keep me busy if I get bored with WoW.
Here recently weather has been getting nicer so I been working on the house outside a bit. Still cleaning up after the tree that fell back in November. Nothing real exiciting. Did get some rugs down in the living room so I have me a temporary floor until I get carpet later. Got to rip out the old bathroom and redo it from the water damage anyway so is better to not have carpet right now.
Working on getting things back on track since I lost my job back in January. Slow going but I'll get there someday.
Hoping to get back into college again sometime next year.
My goal right now is getting broadband again by summer, I want DSL but I am stuck going with cable through Comcast...
I guess biggest thing happening recently is I finally got my desktop up and running again after almost 8 months of sitting in the closet.
I can be contacted on AIM MiddayCoder

I was deating if I should bother telling you or not, but w/e I guess I amy as well (I figure many of you have guessed anyway).
My name's Drew. Yep, I'm a guy. 24yo and straight. Now that I've pissed a few of you off, here's the history:
I lost my love (Lithium Dawn, yeah she was real), in an accident outside my house... at the end of my driveway. She was everything to me, a best friend and someone I was deeply in love with, someone who could not return the kind of love I was giving out as her sexual preferances differed from mine. I started playing SS using the nick name she gave me in RL, and so I made the Character "FallenAngel" in her memory. Stupid, twisted, sick... yeah I know and I appologise. FA was a character I made to have her live on... being as young as I was I thought... well I'm still not certain what I thought. Thinking back on it, I don't especially regret it. It really did help me move away from her passing, and in a way helped me pass on to people what a great person she really was.
The images of the woman in the Canadian Airforce outfit... my neighbour, and a Capt as well, her name's Hope. I unfortunately never had pictures of Lith and I, and after the accident her parents were posted and I lost contact with them.
I am sorry if I've hurt any of you through my deception. Although you were friends with FA and not me, I am telling you all of this to let you know your friendship in the past helped me through an extreemly difficult time in my life.
Do not write to the email account Doug sent the notification of this "reunion" to, I've activated NSDF_FallenAngel@hotmail.com agian, if you feel like writing at all.
For now, I wish you all the best and hope you get the things you need in life.
-Drew

Heya Tarkus; got your message. Still living in the (to many unpronouncable) town of Rijswijk in The Netherlands. Sometime the coming weeks (depending on when they get the paperwork sorted out) I should start working at a tech support job for our national defense network... which should end the rather annoying streak of bad luck I've had for a while concerning jobs, and get me back on track. A while back I found out I (may or may not) have another half-sister.. One I knew of, she's about 16 years older, but this girl is 6 years younger.. And my dad sais she's not my sister.. So there's a bit of an issue with that.. Still working on that one. In the meantime I've been hanging around the Starsiege:2845 forums, and am at the moment part of the testing team for its ATR. I've kind of stepped back from IMs a bit, and am mostly found idling in its chatrooms now. My old fedde@wanadoo.nl email is dead as I switched ISPs, so I had to switch over to hotmail and gmail.. but unless it's about the project or something important, I'm probably slow in reply.. Apathy kinda set in there; it's nothing personal to people, I just don't really feel communicative of late.. As expected, I play whatever testing version of the ATR we have available, which takes up a reasonable amount of time, alternated by some Oblivion and other random singleplayer games. Am about to get back into Eve-online as well though. Email/MSN is charichio(at)hotmail.com, but I'm on away most of the time lately. There is also smylodon.fatalis(at)gmail.com and for more personal/serious stuff I tend to use fedde.blokland(at)gmail.com

Yes, Rigger still torments me with that name ^ Hey all, its -=NSDF=-Rougeflame//Arikraz//Stryder//Azhrei//Evo Escaflowne//Zeharek//Tafron//Xenor//Valura//Iced Metroid//Name-Whore...Aka Sean. xD I've been meandering without internet for the last...4-5 Months or so and have been missing it oh so much (I was able to goto the local library and do my usual Myspacing (yes...I myspace...) but not too much else).. Life for me has gone quite...okay for the past few years. As some of you know, my parents got Divorced a few years back (Spring 03 or 04...one of the two) and its been an interesting time since then. I lived with my mom for the past few years after the divorce until she moved out to Texas last July (leaving me here in Colorado all on my own ;_; ) when my brother came to the rescue and let me rent out his basement for the past 9 months (I had a few jobs during that time, but nothing too fancy smancy). I just moved into my dads apartment for a few weeks today so that I may find a job here in Colorado Springs (my brother lived about an hours drive north of here) and FINALLY get my own place to live (FREEDOM!!). I'm 19 years old now (I've been in -=NSDF=- since i was at least 14 if not longer...I think) and still trying to play Starsiege as often as I can. My main games of late are the Command & Conquer First Decade collection, Starcraft (old habits die hard), Final Fantasy XI (still better than WoW IMO), Tribes V (singleplayer unfortunatly), and Half-Life 2. My current computer weighs in at about near death. 1.10 Ghz, 80 GB HDD (with only 10 GBs remaining), 256 MB or so of RAM, ATI Radeon 9500 vid card, with a dying 450 Watt Powersupply (fan is going out x.x ) and not much room inbetween. I still love writing in Rigger's and My Stories (as you can see, they are all in their own little Forum here in IW ;D) and hopefully will someday complete those works that we have both started and never finished (the long awaited completion of Warriors Vacation may be near if I can get a hold of that twat) (which only Rigger and I are awating it xD) I'm actually becoming a full-fledged DJ here (not a turntablist or Radio DJ. I mean a Techno DJ) and have made at least 40 songs total so far, spanning over 5 records in production by my Record Label Timespender Records (named after my first album which flopped xD) and you can hear some of my music at www.myspace.com/djarikraz (yes. DJ Arikraz. Suck an Egg! haha) and I'm really really proud of what i have done so far with no plans to stop. Enough Jibber-Jabber about me. I need sleep now xD -=NSDF=-Arikraz[E3] Out. EMAIL: djarikraz@gmail.com MSN Messenger - dj_arikraz@hotmail.com Y! Messenger - dj_arikraz AIM//AOL - Static Vash and/or DJ Arikraz (im on both all the time)

Well, I joined a few weeks ago, but I found myself bereft of anything to actually say. Here goes: Been out of high school for about 2 years now, am currently in College for communication arts (A fancy term for a school that teaches stuff in the corporate art industry). I dabble in online graphic design when I can, even joined a graphic design grouped headed up by some former StarSiege player where for a brief while I was one of their designers. I also manage a small StarSiege fansite when I can be bothered to get around to it (which isn't often). Outside of web design and school, I've just got high speed internet (yay), and have been playing a lot of Star Wars:Battlefront II, the space combat wasn't as I expected it to be, but it's a lot of fun. And the battle of hoth map is just plain fun when your in an AT-AT. Eventually, I intend to get back into Starcraft:Brood War and Warcraft 3. As for the 2845 ATR, I've become increasingly jaded towards any sort of progress made, it's not that I think Clancore is doing a piss poor job, it's just that this thing has been in development for a very long time now, and eventually, even the most diehard fan will no longer be swayed by version change logs and a random screenshot. NSDF was a fun time for me, even if I came off as psycho at times. The only reason I left in the first place was because I wanted to see more of the StarSiege community and I thought that stay there would hold me back. My favorite memories of the NSDF were the larger training days for 2nd CAD, but my fondest was when a whole bunch of NSDF, and NTDF unoffically got together in one server, and eventually the whole thing became a NSDF vs. NTDF friendly matchup. Lots of fun. One more thing, I still have an old screen shot from the NSDF days on my old homestead account, in the interest of history, let's share:

Hey guys, long time no see for most of you. :-D
Gotlag, killer, and I still play sc, wc3, and a few other games occationally together. Although anymore gaming together has become kinda rare since were all busy. Whenever robert gets his internet back we could try organizing an SC game or something if any of you would like to get together for a game.
Now for a little update...
Im almost 24 years old, and im still living in Martinsburg, Wv.
I just recently started working on learning C, C++, and a few other programming languages. Hopefully in a year or two when me, Robert, and James have the time, we will build a multiplayer game of some sorts together.
For awhile I was playing WoW, but I gave that up and i've been playing Warring Factions for the past 6 months. Other than that game I haven't been gaming much except for the occational sc, wc3, or ron game I play with james and robert.
My Current Computer Specs:
3 GB ram, FX5900 256mb, 360 GB (total HDD space) and AMD Athlon 2000+ (The cpu I was planning on upgrading over a year 1/2 ago or so, but I never got around to it.)
