General Rules & JOIN Information

The Rules are simple:

You may post on any Public Board on any subject as you desire.

You may request access to other Boards by emailing Tarkus.

You may feel free to express your ideas in a responsible manner.

You may NOT deliberately offend or attack another member/poster under any circumstances.

You may NOT use deliberately vulgar language for the sake of using it. You may use colorful language in a Story line or other written material you wish to post, but it should be used in the context of the material and should be done so “sparingly”.

Be aware that people of all ages and backgrounds access forums such as this one.

It is "your" responsibility to ensure your posts are not deliberately offensive.

The “language censor” is NOT engaged. That means any words may be used, so be careful with what you say and how you say it.

If a person attacks or insults another, that person will receive a one-time warning.

If the insults continue, that person will be banned.

Each "board" may have it's own set of rules.

The "Members Only" boards are not for idle "chatting", but rather for problem solving and sharing information/knowledge gained through experience or formal training.

Threads should STAY ON TOPIC. Please do change the "subject" of a thread. If your comments are important, START A NEW THREAD.

Joining Imperium Worlds:

1. Public Boards -- Open to anyone who wishes to read/post, providing they are polite and respectful of others.

2. Games and Beyond - Member Boards (password required) -- Those individuals interested in working on maps, mods, skins and other projects for a "specific" game. If there is enough interest to add a "new" game, it will be added.

This is also the place to discuss "strategy" and other game techniques for a "specific" game.

Other discussions might be tips for gameplay, updates/patches, reference sites for further game followup and more.

NOTE: This is NOT a place for squad/clan meetings. If there is enough interest in a particular game, those individuals are more than welcome to form a squad/clan. They may do so on their own or with cooperation of IW and other IW members.

Imperium Worlds is NOT a squad/clan for any specific game at this time.

3. Engineering and Design - Invitation Boards (password required) -- Just that. Invitation only. This section will contain reference material and other information about the Board Subject.

4. Discussion on Member and Invitation Boards is "restricted" to the subject material, and is "not" for chatting and/or posting "cute" comments. For those purposes, use the Public Boards or another Forum, please.

3. Email address, Messenger. You must have a "valid" email address, and have either Yahoo or MSN messenger. Yahoo is "preferred", but MSN will do.

4. Explain what type of gaming you prefer.

5. Explain what aspects of gaming interest you in addition to "actual game play".

6. Explain what experience you have in any of these areas, if any. NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

7. Explain why you wish to be a member.
