OOPS. That was a post from LAST year, GL. Not to worry though. I will post the start up dates soon and also place them on the CALENDAR. I think they are set to begin in June again this year, but will confirm.

Uh oh yea....opps.
Sad thing is I already forgot what the finales were about on SGA and SG1. They haven't really been good enough for last few seasons to really stick in my mind and be something I am really looking forward to seeing. Don't know if anyone else feels that way or not.
BSG on the other hand, I do remember that one well.

The NEW season for 2006 starts this July. That includes SG1, SG Atlantis and Battlestar Galactica. I don't care much for the SG series, but I really do like Battlestar. It is nice to see a show that is a little more "adult" like with characters that seem more like "real" people with "real" problems.

Well I did like SG back in the old days, now without RDA it isn't worth watching. Show kinda went to crap after he left. SGA is still slightly interesting but SG1 is really running down, not many ideas left so they have to get most of the show storylines from SGA, they can't keep this up forever SG1 is going to have to die and let SGA become its own show. Scifi will run both of them into the ground as long as they get the ratings they want, but without SG it is back to being the re-run network again. BSG yes definately more adult and I like it. I hope that it sticks around as long as SG1 but without turning crappy. LOL Original BSG only went one season right? Or was it two? I know it did not last very long. July is too long to wait, I want year round BSG.

The original BSG lasted two seasons.
And in the new BSG, is it just me, or did the quality of the episodes take a dive sometime after Ressurection Ship pt.2? (Canadians are still going through the second season right now). There's something missing in the stories that I can't quite place. I remember being pumped up about Scar because of it's portrayal of the Galactica pilots in an extremely drawn out and hazardous situation, but at the end, I felt disappointed.
Or maybe I've just gone mad.

If you just saw "Scar", I won't comment on the remaining stories, but a LOT does change.
Hang in there. They have departed considerably from the "original" series quite a bit.

Forgot my password. After flipping through the dvr to look for upcoming episodes I was worried when I did not see any new BSG. Thankfully I know now it wasn't canceled just isn't on until October! :-( What really bugs me is this daylight savings we just started this year in IN. Now all the good summer shows (SG1, SGA, etc.) are on late at night.

Yes, they decided to wait until October. I don't know why. It has started in July for the last two years. Hope they are not trying some new type of schedule or that it conflicts with a poplular network show, which would signal "death".
