Starts this Friday, October 6, 2006. Begins with a 2-hour episode. I already have all the DVD's for this series. One of my favorites.

Not a bad start to the season. Will be interesting to see how they get away from that planet, or if they do.
Constantly being chased through space would make a boring show, so this is a nice change. Not sure where they are going from here but I'm looking forward to it.

the show many times seems to rushed to me, forced, the orignal wasnt like that, it had its slow boring parts but it wasnt as forced and rushed, this is common in todays tv tho, they rush to try and keep peoples attention because they know that americans attn span is so low it makes a fruiflys life look long.

Well, so far it ain't bad. Kinda nice the last episode going back to some parts down on the planet, filling in some details. They could have expanded the time on the planet I guess, good to have them off but they could have gone into more detail I guess.
Overall still a great show, it isn't perfect but no show is.

There is usually more information on the web site as well to fill in blanks.
It is still a great show. Still lots of questions to be answered as well.
I am still trying to understand Number Six, or the version that is inside Baltar's head. That does not match any other 6's.
Also, one of the 6 models (the one resurrected after planting the computer virus that destroyed the human worlds) had Baltar inside "her" head.
I enjoy the show because it is NOT a kiddie show. It is more adult, with adult subjects and complicated plots, with people who are not anywhere near "perfect".

Yes very complicated and sometimes just damn confusing. Which is also a bit of a downside as someone coming into the show now would have a hard time knowing what the heck is going on with it.

You "can" get it all on DVD, but it does cost. I have the first 4 hours of the movie, then all of seasons 1 and 2. That is about $150 minimum. And season 3 will be released soon.
My daughter comes over to watch the episodes and catch up. She started watching when the second half of season 2 came out and has a lot of catching up to do.

Yea that is where they make back the cost of producing the series. DVD collections are expensive. I'd love to get all my favorite shows on DVD but I'd spend over $2000 doing it.

The series is complete. I have purchased all seasons plus the additional movies that were released separately. Great series and well worth watching.
